Last day in Apache junction

At the entrance of Phoenix desert botanical gardens you see these "blown" glass structures. Some guy does these and assembles them to fit in with the desert cactus and stuff. The "glass plants" stand about 12 - 15' tall and have lots of spears of blown glass in each one. The sun hits them and the colors are spectacular.

Our final day here in Apache junction, good byes to friends etc. We'll head out of here about 9:30 in the morning after rush hour traffic clears.

  2. I remember those glass sculptures. Their price tags were unreal. Safe travels. Visited your mom today & she said she was a lot better & had been up walking. She is still so sharp. Amazing.
