Checked another one off my bucket list this morning. Always wanted to ride in a hot air balloon. Was fascinating watching them set it up and get it ready to roll. Wind was fairly calm and we landed about 5 miles from where we started (Eloy airport). Had to get up at 0430 to get out there to go. Got some pictures but there was a lot of smog in the air. One guy rode up to 5,000' and jumped out of the basket (he had a chute on). Was kind of cool watching him go down and the parachute deploying. Ordered Debi's headstone for the grave, not a pleasant task. Life goes on around here.
I always wanted to ride in a balloon too. I used to go to the balloon festivals when they were held in Tucson. Deb thanks you for the headstone...
