Some cool cactus in front of this "for sale" home. This is about two miles from our RV park. Not sure if the cacti are those 100 year ones that live till they're roughly 100 years old then "keel over"???? And I'm still looking for a road runner to take a picture of, no luck yet this year...
Those are a form of a Yucca plant.

I think they have a name like Roman Candle. The "Century Plant" actually lives about 17 years, blooms & then dies. It's long, straight stem is great for a light-weight hiking stick. I've hollowed some out & made digeridoes (long horns you blow on). Have a safe trip. Sorry you didn't make it to Picacho. JAM
