This is a picture of a bad annode (that's a thingie that goes in an RV's hot water heater to attract minerals). this one has been in some really hard water. The desert southwest is notorious for hard water. I pulled this one out, flushed hot water heater out with fresh water and put a new one in. Hopefully I'll check the new one a bit sooner. Note from Debi: Merry Christmas. We had a very good dinner at the club house today. There are a lot of good cooks and of course we ate too much. It is rainy and cool but nothing like Pinedale. Talked to the kids and Mom and everyone had a good Christmas.
