An old gate
On our Kolob terrace trip from yesterday Debi insisted I take a picture of this old gate. Something about the thing that caught her eye. It's old, it's rustic and it's bent up but it is kind of "artistic" I guess. Sooooooo, here's a gate.
Wow it sure rained here today. Debi and I are going to run up to Pinedale Next week for a couple of days. My mom has had some sudden hearing loss and has an appointment with an audiologist on April 14th. We'll scoot up there on Easter Sunday and return back here on the 15th (weather permitting).

Kolob terrace
Went with Sutherlands this afternoon and tooks some pictures of the Zion park area. These pics are taken from Kolob terrace, sorta between Cedar City and Zion park. Saw some pretty sites up there. We were pretty high as we got turned around by snowbanks before we got to Kolob reservoir.
Wind is supposed to rip again tomorrow. Hunker down I guess.

Elephant head peak
That mountain in the center of the photo is elephant head peak, very near Fremont peak in the wind river range near Pinedale. Shot this pic in the late 90's on yet another search and rescue operation.
Picture from yesterday didn't show on my blog? (or at least it didn't show for me). Hopefully it's not a glitch or a worm or??
Waiting for a call from out friends who are traveling from Parker Az back to their home base in Kalispell Montana, it's a bit early to be going that far north but they're going to "hole up" in Jackpot Nevada for a while till they get a break in the weather. I've been watching the Pinedale weather online and it looks a bit "unsettled".
Those black splotches on the pic are from some crud that got on the photo before I scanned it. Pretend it's a bird or something
