Not sure if you can read this or not.  This is in the Wyoming range west of Pinedale about 30 miles.  I haven't been in that area for a while.   

Relatives galore coming for visits.  With that and work I stay plenty busy...

A lake in the Bridger Wilderness...

One of the lakes near Fremont peak east of Pinedale Wy.  Might be elbow lake?  Not sure.  Took the pic. several years ago on a search and rescue op.  Let's just call it "wingstrut" lake.

Search and Rescue

A search helicopter from a couple of years ago.  This search was for a fellow who became separated from his hiking group.  Unfortunately they found the fellow deceased. 

Had a bit more rain today, still a drought though.

Won't be long now

Summer's half over, I'm going to enjoy my time here BUT, it's always nice to know that this unit and I have the privilege of going south.  That will happen somewhere near the end of September.

Jeez, do you think I post enough pictures of squaretop.   Can't help myself, it's a beautiful mountain.

Rendez. is over....yessss, I'm headed to days off.  My "grand" niece from Sheridan is in the high school rodeo finals for the "world" title.  It's happening in Rock springs so I'm going to go down and catch one of her barrel race runs.  My brother says she has a horse good enough and she's a good enough rider soooo, cross your fingers.....

Lunch

This guy has caught his lunch and is apparently waiting to "chow down".  This is by half moon lake near the lodge.  Tried to get a close up of him but that managed to blur the picture a bit.   I'm sure you get the idea!!!

Weavers needle

Weaver's needle east of Apache junction Arizona.  Thought I'd throw that in to realize our summer temperatures here in the summer (Wyoming) aren't nearly as bad as the Phoenix area.....
