I definitely need some new material.  Had to dig to find this picture.  Off to take a ride through the back roads to Cedar City Ut. today with a friend.  3 more days in the 90's then it's supposed to cool back down to normal.  My A/C is getting plenty of exercise

Sister Rita

 My sister Rita on one of our day trips while she visited Arizona in February.  This was on south mountain south of Phoenix.  Lovely view of the valley from up there.

Suppiosed to be in the 90's here this weekend.  I prefer 70's and 80's.  I see some A/C in my future.

Parachute jump plane

 I never did post a picture of the plane we jumped out of in February.  This thing is extremely powerful, when it takes off it really climbs from 1,800' ground level to over 13,000'.  Fortunately I was chewing gum and my ears didn't plug up.  My jumping days are over, well maybe....

Leaving Phoenix

 As I was leaving Phoenix area Friday this balloon went over the highway just ahead of me.  It looked like it was having trouble getting high enough to clear the power lines but just did.  This picture was just before the exit to Wickenburg from I-17.

Windy here in Hurricane Utah today, met up with Henry and Linda Schmidt and Bob and Tib Sutherland for a "needed" blizzard at Dairy Queen. 

We may go to the movie "Hunger games" later this week.  They say it's a pretty good flick

Poor Kermit

Alas, the hot weather finally got to kermit.  RIP Kermit.  Was 90 here today, cooler tomorrow though.

Talking stick Casino

Talking stick resort and casino in Scottsdale Az.  I'll be headed out Friday morning past this place.  It's a pretty popular Indian gambling casino, it's one that I've never been to.  Getting out just in time, supposed to be in the low 90's here this weekend.  Hopefully Mesquite will be a bit cooler.
