Change of time for service

A conflict arose so we have to change the time of the service to 2:30 P.M.  It will still be on Saturday the 5th in the Lovett room of the library.  So disregard the earlier post of 10:30 A.M.

Memorial service

For those who don't know, we're having a memorial service for Debi on Saturday Nov. 5th at 10:30 a.m. in the Lovatt room of the Pinedale Library.  Interment of the cremains following the service.  Kay Buston at the Stockman's restaurant has graciously prepared a meal for the atendees after the services.

Good to be home

Always good to see Fremont lake after being gone for a while.  Was a nice day up there.   Still not exactly sure about time and date for a memorial service for Debi.  Probably Saturday Nov. 5th at 10:30, unless the funeral home has a conflict.  Will know more tomorrow or Tuesdy..

In Pinedale

I'm sure most of you know by now that Debi has passed on from this life.  She went peacefully yesterday morning at the Hospital in St. George Utah.  I made arrangements on that end and drove to Pinedale today.  I'll never be able to thank Bob and Tib Sutherland as well as Henry and Linda Schmidt for taking me under their wings yesterday to help begin the healing process.  These folks are truly angels of mercy!  We're planning a memorial service for possibly Saturday Nov. 5th...time and place is unsure yet... 

Oh and all the people that called and sent well wishes...to many to name individually.

No saguaro this year.  After Debi gets out of the hospital we'll probably lay low here in Hurricane Utah this winter. 

They run some more tests on Debi.  Hurry up and wait...

Between Cottonwood lake and Wolf lake

Took this a few years back on a fishing trip, probably a few elk hunters in that area now. 

Debi's still in the hospital, her vitals are stable and she's anxious to get out of there, not sure just when???  Great health care down here in Dixie!!

55" tv

Yowza!! , this picture makes the entertainment center and 55" tv look small but wow, that sucker makes your eyes bug out...

Debi's some better today, You don't just snap your fingers and get well, I'm guessing she'll be back on her feet and walking comfortably by late November to mid December. Still in Dixie regional hospital though, no idea how long she'll be there????

Moose Gypsum creek road washout

This happened about mid June on the Green river lakes side of Moose Gypsum creek road. Lots of snow meltoff and rain caused it I guess. I traveled over the same road in Late July and it was all fixed.

Was 90 degrees in friendly downtown St. George Utah today, we've had the A/C on most afternoons. No end in sight of the nice weather, I'm not complaining...

Debi's still in the hospital, getting more stable every day!

Near Big Sandy area

Took this shot one of the last weeks I worked this past summer. Up around Big Sandy area.

Just got back from the hospital visiting Debi, she's doing better, pumping lots of liquids and blood platelets in to her. That chemo she took to try to stop the auto-immune thing kind of backfired. She's getting more stable by the day though. I'm only guessing that she'll be in there for a few more days at least.

Back yard view

This is our back-yard looking southeast. Got a couple of healthy palm trees there, some of the palms winter killed last year but these seem to be ok for now. Took this yesterday morning about sunrise...

"ole red"

Ole "Red" did a pretty good job of getting the Montana down this year. The usual 11 miles per gallon of fuel while towing. Henry Schmidt was kind enough to back the trailer in out yard here in Hurricane. He's got a lot more experience backing long trailer than I do. he hit it right the first time!!

Find a place to hang the shingle

Got to find a place to hang the ole shingle. Had that made in Mesa Arizona a few years back. The sign has traveled with us and our RV for many miles. Oh, and the broom has absolutely nothing to do with anything.

Wow, and I was in this a week ago

Soooo glad we got out of Pinedle with the trailer last Friday.  We've had a bunch of rain down here and there's even snow on Pine mountain, that's pretty rare for this time of year.  We make the big move from trailer to house tomorrow morning.  Life is good!!!!!!

Yikes, I don't do high places well, and yes, it's a couple thousand feet straight down from where I took this photo a couple weeks ago at Sacred rim.

Long lake

A picture from my walk in to Sacred rim a week or so ago. We're moving right along getting the house furnished and moved in. Hopefuly all will go well and we'll be in it Saturday. Sutherlands and Schmidts have been a great help!!

Kendall warm springs

A bit of steam coming off Kendall warm springs a couple days back. Sun is just hitting the mountain and showing the fall colors. I have a lot to learn about early morning photography..

I'll have to hit the ground running this morning (hey, and the St. George marathon is in town today also). Get stuff moved into the house and order up some furniture (and a 50" tv)
