Can't remember which lake this is?? That's gannet peak in the upper left corner of the picture (just see the top of it, all white).  Fremont peak on the upper right hand corner of the pic.

Mount Jacupia (I think that's how it's spelled)

Just to throw everyone off I'm posting a picture from Eastern Europe near Serbia.  I had a facebook friend from that area and he was telling me about this mountain.  

Forgot my camera this morning

This is a picture of Snyder basin guard station west of Big Piney.  Area just opened up the last couple of weeks.   And I forgot my camera this morning and saw a tiny baby antelope with his mother right by the road.  Could have got a great shot, but didn't.

One of my favorite spots on earth.

This was taken last September.  Can't get anywhere near it this year.  Yet.

Day on the lake

Fished and got the "bugs" out of the fishing boat today. Was a really nice day with very little wind!!

Not sure what kind of a bird this is, I've seen a few of them around over the years??

On the way to photographers point

Took this picture of Fremont peak on the way to photographer's point last fall.   Poor backpackers won't be able to get near this spot till mid to late July I bet

More snow

Like we haven't seen snow this year.  Wow, all that has to go down the Green River.....gulp!

Spring elk

Looks like this cow elk had a bit of a rough winter.  Took her photo about noon today near the "bend of the river" about 30 miles north of Pinedale.  She never moved and was only about 45 yards away.  They know when it's NOT hunting season I guess.

13000+ft above sea level

A very tired mountain climber.  This was from my summit of Fremont peak in 1999.  I was soooooo tired...

Half Moon lake

Half moon lake early this morning. I always manage to get power lines in my pictures...

I know, I know, I've posted this before.  It's one of my favorite pictures from an airplane showing the ruggedness of the back-side of Fremont peak about 20 miles east of Pinedale.  That glacier you see (the highest one) is the backside of Fremont peak.
